In December 2007 I returned to West Papua, documenting the stories of its indigenous people who have been living under a brutal Indonesian military occupation. Its tribal people are being tortured, raped and slaughtered, with villages burnt and their unique environment destroyed.
Sadly due to problems with my camera, my photography was limited but this small set survived, taken at a village in the Baliem Valley.
