I am a freelance photographer especially interested in working with charity / Third Sector organisations. My heart and lens focus firmly on the human, and my strength lies in an ability to connect with people - positive connections lead to great images.
I care deeply about gender equality, human rights and international development as well as exploring social justice issues closer to home. I am a trained participatory photography facilitator and have worked with many different groups including survivors of trauma and abuse, elders, children and those experiencing mental health issues, learning difficulties and autism. A few years ago I founded In The Picture to focus on delivering community workshops and participatory projects that encourage wellbeing through photography. I was born and bred in north Wales, and am currently based in Bristol, UK. I've been fortunate enough to work and travel in countries as diverse as West Papua, Nepal, Indonesia, Cuba, Egypt, South Korea, New Zealand and the USA. I am available for assignments, projects and workshops locally and worldwide. |
